Youth Leadership Camp

The Airlie Beach/Hamilton Island Youth Development & Leadership Camp for 2018 was another great success! Jam packed with fun activities and team bonding! The ocean rafting was a crowd favourite! Thank you to all our youth members for their outstanding contribution this season! And a big thank you to the leaders Kent, Lesley, Kim, Daneal & Macey for chaperoning

This years youth member that supplied the most volunteer patrol hours was JACK SWINDELLS. Great job Jack congratulations, at the time of judging Jack had put in 147 hours.IMG_3444  IMG_3443

Our youth patrol members now account for about two thirds of the clubs patrol members and contribute approximately 2000 volunteer hours patrolling at Sarina Beach. They are well trained and committed to the safety of the public visiting Sarina Beach. Without the fantastic effort of these terrific kids the club would struggle to supply compliant patrols week in week out. As a club we couldn’t be prouder to have the all as our members.
